Area 51 Cupcakery

I was not expecting there to be so many gluten free cupcake options. And they are AMAZING. Highly recommend. The GF cupcakes are in a separate area because staff has to go to the back to get it. Seriously so worth it.

GF cupcakes only on Friday and Saturday. Since it’s Wednesday and I’m from out of town, I cannot comment on taste.

Cupcakes are delish and I’ve never had a reaction. That said, they won’t claim to be celiac-safe given the environment but they do make an effort to keep things separate.

Custom ordered a Gluten Free cake. It was delicious, and neither of the celiac’s in the family that ate it had any issues.

When ordering we spoke to the manager who was very familiar with GF practices, and assured us that they had procedures in place (dedicated station, utensils, etc.) to minimize the risk of cross contamination while noting that it is a not a GF bakery, so there is some unavoidable risk.

Outside of custom orders, they offer GF cupcakes on weekends and regularly stock macarons.
