The person at the counter said only one type of arepa had gluten (I think it was chorizo but not sure). I got the steak arepa with cheese. He also asked me what kind of sauce I wanted, and said he *thinks* the hot sauce was the only gluten free sauce. I was a little nervous to try the food since he didn’t seem super confident and wish they had some labeling on their menu. However, I didn’t get sick at all, and the arepa was delicious! One arepa was very filling too. Good to have a GF option in DeKalb Market!

Excellent food. I had the arepa with cheese, beans, shredded beef, and plantains. I have a very high sensitivity gluten allergy and did not have any impact. They only have one non gluten free option on the menu and they are knowledgeable about gluten

They do have one type of arepa with gluten, but the server said they have two separate grills! So it's safe.

They always take extra time to be careful when prepping gf. Some of the options aren’t gf, so make sure to ask. In the Dekalb Food Market.
