Review of Arethusa Farm Dairy

I went in without having looked them up before, and informed the server behind the counter about my celiac and if they had gluten free options. They did have gluten free options, almost all the icecream they were serving that day were gf, she said she could serve me safely. I wanted to know their cross-contact protocol and she got really rude/angry at me, almost yelling that she knew how to serve me as they have good allergen protocols and also serve people with severe nut allergy. So I kind of felt bullied into ordering without knowing what she was going to do, but decide to go for it as I could always give it away.

They do have a good allergen protocol. Switched gloves, grabbed a new clean scoop, new container with ice cream that had not yet been touched. Also scoops were hugeeeeeee. I felt assured it was safe for me to eat and I didn’t feel sick. Chocolate flavor was very yummy. Just too bad that they got so rude while I just wanted to make sure I wasn’t going to get sick.
