Found this place through the app. Delicious food at great prices. GF isn’t listed on the menu but you can ask for it. I felt even safer knowing some staff are GF. It was a treat to enjoy pancakes and toast out! Perfect way to start vacation!

We went here for breakfast on the recommendation of the reviewer’s. The only gluten-free option that we were offered was the pancakes and/or toast. So I ordered the toast which was $4.45 for two pieces of toast. And I ordered the hashbrowns which were horrible, you could tell they were frozen they were still cold and soggy. The owner came to the table and gave us a great history on the building. But did not notice or acknowledge the plate of Home fries sitting in the middle of the table untouched. The one waitress did not ask us how things were until she was getting ready to present the check. Again she did not acknowledge the uneaten home fries. She did remove the charge when I asked. My husband who eats everything so they only way they were palatable was with hot sauce and lots of salt.

My family visited Argyle’s on our way to the 4x4 area of the Outer Banks. PJ and Debra are the owners. They are amazing! Debra bakes gluten free cakes and pies that are delicious! She’s very knowledgeable and would clean the grill before making my daughter and my meals. She even made my 6 year old daughter hand cut fries after realizing their fries have gluten. I had a chicken breast and risotto. It was amazing! We came back for breakfast the next day and had gluten free chocolate chip pancakes, omelets, breakfast potatoes and toast. We ended up having them cater a meal during the week of prime rib and a steam boil. Seriously great food and I didn’t have to worry about cross contamination because of their knowledge about gluten! Definitely will be back!
