Arturo's Mexican Restaurant

Best Mexican restaurant in Cheney! Small but they do a lot of takeout. Chips are safe always use corn tortillas and tell them you’re gluten-free and you’ll be fine. I always order the Pobre Arturo Platter, it’s large. I’ve tried on those things but keep coming back to this.

The menu did not list any gluten free items, but our waiter was very knowledgeable and helpful selecting naturally gluten free items (nachos for my son and tacos for me). I ordered chicken tacos, but our waiter returned to my table after double checking with the kitchen and learning the chicken was marinated with an enchilada sauce that contained wheat. He recommended steak tacos instead, which turned out wonderful, along with beans and rice. My son really enjoyed his gf beef nachos as well. If this positive review is still up, it means I did not get sick and I consider it safe for celiac.
