My waitress, while a little brusque, checked with the kitchen and pointed out the items I could eat. They do not have a separate fryer. I felt fine afterwards.

You’d think a Mediterranean place would have more GF options, but the few they do have are done well. Salmon is the best bet

I spoke with the owner and chef Chris, before eating here. Many of the things on the menu are not safe because of possible contamination. That is why I gave it 4 stars. Chris stated the safest meals for me, a celiac, was the salmon or a salad. I had the salmon which was delicious. She also had a roll for me that was very good. I would eat there again but would always talk to Chris first.

The chef at Arugula has produced a massive menu of American classics and high-end Mediterranean fare. Several items are clearly marked gluten-free and an in-depth conversation about cross-contamination and "hidden" gluten reveals she really knows her stuff. The food is hearty, upscale and delicious. While the gluten free desserts are not quite on par with their gluten-containing counterparts (Arugula is known for sensational cakes and bread puddings), it is at least nice to have some options. There is truly something for everyone here!
What an absolutely delicious meal! Amazing blend of seasonings on food! GF rolls and flat bread! Knowledge wait staff on GF options and food safety. Will definitely go back!

Delicious food, staff very knowledgeable, flat bread on Still Riding crust.
Needed to stop here when on the road; I hadn't had time to either pack a meal or research ahead. Google Maps led us here as a place with GF options. They were very nice to us. Turns out they have GF flat bread made off-site in a dedicated kitchen and cooked there with safe protocol. I had wonderful flatbread with chicken and tomatoes on top; ate a little less than half and took the rest home. My daughter, not a celiac, had the regular flat bread with vegetarian topping and she loved hers, too. It is pricey, but it was a safe oasis on a difficult day.

Love this place. The owner/cook is awesome. The gluten free flatbreads are delicious! The flatbread goes well with their tasty wine selections. Arugula always has great specials and plenty of offerings for the entire family. I highly recommend this establishment.
