Super cute breakfast/lunch cafe with a variety of GF options. Breakfast, sandwiches/wraps, pizza and even dessert. Great location among all the shops on Asbury St.

I had the opportunity to speak with the cook and the server and they seemed very knowledgeable about cross contamination. I enjoyed the blueberry pancakes and thankfully had no negative reactions.

My daughter has celiac and we’ve eaten at Asbury Kitchen a bunch of times. They have a great dedicated GF menu. I can’t speak to how everything is made, but my daughters never had an issue eating pancakes and French toast there. They also have great GF desserts. Love this place!

HORRIBLE. JUST HORRIBLE!!! Do not eat here if u are celiac or highly sensitive… they have so many “options” even a dedicated menu but not one thing in that place is brought out with zero contamination and completely gluten free. Even after they assure you profusely…

They did not have pancakes and said they’ve been out for a couple of months and didn’t know when or if they would have them again. Celiac daughter got French toast with eggs sausage. The other two gluten meals arrived way before her gluten free meal. We were done eating by the time her French toast arrived. Then it took another 5-10 minutes for her eggs and sausage to arrive. She said it was good but that was a little annoying.

Absolutely NOT CELIAC SAFE!!! This place just took over Arlene’s which was the best GF breakfast place in OC. Now, Asbury Kitchen advertises their own GF menu, except there is DEFINITELY CROSS CONTAMINATION. Read the recent reviews on Arlene’s and beware. I got takeout here and the wrapped one of their actual plates in foil and put it in my bag. Fortunately I was almost home when I ate it, because within minutes I was extremely sick. NEVER AGAIN. Stay away!!
