Ordered the philly cheesecake with a gluten free bun. This came with shoestring fries. The food was just ok. Not enough meat to bun ratio but glad they offer gluten free options.

A good amount of this menu can be made gf. Fries were gf and delicious. Their flattop grill is not gluten free, but they were upfront and honest about it! They use Udi’s rolls, so it can be a little dry and dense. Otherwise my meal was good and I haven’t gotten sick!

Something is off here, I always got sick even though I was told the fryer was GF. The GF bread is also really dry and they don’t seem to make an effort to mitigate that.

Sensitive celiac. Extremely knowledgeable staff. Completely GF fried foods and fryers. Take measures to avoid cross contamination as much as a restaurant that is not solely GF can. Highly recommend this newly owned hot spot! Voted Top sandwich in WNC too!

While this was a Gluten Free have and when it was first opened, it is under new ownership since about 2016. When last visited the cook said “how am I supposed to know what’s in the breading“ when asked if the fryer was still safely Gluten Free. I still have gluten-free rolls, but make no guarantees about what they serve. The counter service wait staff and kitchen staff are equally uninformed and disinterested. Not recommended for anyone limiting gluten intake, under any circumstances.

Fantastic food! If you have a severe allergy this isn’t a place for you, but if you like crohns or UC there are plenty of gluten free options. If you do have celiac this place is a little “Danger Will Robeson”

Can you say delicious?? The only items that contain wheat here are sandwich bread and wraps. Dedicated fryer. Their breading is gf so I had a shrimp po boy. Omg. So good. Their shoestring fries are actually shoe string! Please eat here.

I actually had a really great experience on my last visit here. The gentleman working in the kitchen asked if I had celiac disease. He informed me my meal would take a bit longer as he needed to clean his knives, etc. I was totally fine with that. I had a salad with chicken that was huge and tasty, complete with gf croutons. I see others did not have great experiences here. Unfortunately, not all the staff may be as informed as those working when I was there.

got the turkey blt on gf roll, it was probably the worst sandwich I've ever had. The roll and turkey were as dry as the Sahara, the bacon looked like it had been halfway cooked days ago. It's great for people who can eat gluten but I won't be going there again, very disappointing. Also, they DO NOT use seperate friers and none of fried options are gluten free, including the fries.

Staff was super nice but absolutely clueless. Came here because of the GF reviews but the staff couldn't tell us what was or wasn't gluten free... I understand that it isn't labeled as a GF shop, but if you're gonna have GF bread, at least be able to tell me if the batters or other ingredients are GF :(

Delicious sandwiches

5/5 Super wonderful staff, very careful, understanding and knowledgable! They even take good care of you when you walk in ten minutes to close! Their fried pickles, shoe-string French fries and fried fish sandwich are all to die for! They have gluten free bread upon request and if I am correct all of their fried food is safe! I would definitely go again, and have several times!
