Asuka Sushi was recommended to me by a friend who really likes the restaurant. A quiet place that’s typically not too crowded, they serve decent tasting sushi and large portions.
Unfortunately, the sushi rice they use is not gluten free. I learned this the hard way after ordering Chirashi (bowl of assorted fish over rice). I didn’t get a chance to ask our server beforehand about the ingredients because as soon as they took our order they rushed away.
Aside from rice based dishes, the menu is limited and mostly has items that very obviously contain gluten. So if you’re celiac or very sensitive to gluten then you’ll have to skip this restaurant or risk getting glutened.
