Helpful waitress. Great food. I ordered the broiled white fish sandwich. I passed on the GF bun. Coleslaw was very good and I was able to substitute homemade applesauce for fries. No actual GF menu but they have a list of suggestions of foods to order.

There are two dining sections in this restaurant. One room is casual, we dined in the other room that is more upscale with reservations recommended (Chippewa Room). There is a limited selection of GF items. Our server was knowledgeable and willing to check with the kitchen. I had the GF Broiled Whitefish which was simply prepared and very good. Be sure to discuss safe side options with your server.

We tried to order at Audie's. Our waiter admitted he knew nothing about gluten. I asked if there was someone else I could talk to. He left, then came back to say the manager was on the phone. We said we would wait. The manager was obviously annoyed at being summoned. I asked about several things, including getting a baked potato instead of rice pilaf. She said yes, and I could also have fries. I asked if they had a separate fryer. Of course they didn't. I told her that in that case, the fries were not gf. She got angry, said there's almost nothing there that's not contaminated. My husband asked if I wanted to go somewhere else. I said yes. The manager grabbed our menus and told us to get out. That was a first! Please don't give this run-down establishment your business.

Server was very kind to us and understanding when I asked for a gluten free menu. I definitely would eat here but when I asked about the mashed potatoes having instant potatoes in them, she was very honest and told me yes they do add them. So I didn’t order unfortunately because of the cross contamination risk. My nieces who are not as strict about cross contamination enjoyed their gluten free options. So would recommend if you are ok with cross contamination 👍

Extremely limited GF options…. Chili, salad or whitefish. I ordered a whitefish sandwich without the bun. The fish was about 2”x 4” for $14.00. Cole slaw came with it but I had to ask for waiter to bring it. French fries are not in a dedicated fryer so I substituted a vegetable (a few tiny spears of asparagus). My husband ordered cordon bleu and he said it was the worst he had ever had. They charged my sister in law $1.99 for rolls to go with her meal, but took it off the bill when we complained. We will not be back.

There is no gluten free menu, and our server seemed pretty annoyed that we were asking about gf. She brought us a laminated list that had a few gf options. The list includes the fish, so we ordered that. There were no kid-friendly options for my 12- year old daughter, except for a bunless burger. The side options listed as options were baked potato, Yukon potatoes, or mashed potatoes. When I asked for a baked potato, the server said they didn’t have any. I asked for mashed and she said that they changed their recipe and now there’s gluten in their mashed potatoes. Overall, it really seemed like we were just inconveniencing her, and she had limited interest in helping us identify safe food. The broiled whitefish was excellent, but did not make it worth how inhospitable the server was.

I had the white fish, it was delicious. I would highly recommend this restaurant. They had a paper to explain what was and wasn't gluten free and how to order it. Everyone was very nice as well. They will make burger in a pan upon request to avoid cross contamination.

They have a gf menu but it isn't updated. Their server, Angie, was great and pointed out that the mashed potatoes that are listed gf, have instant mixed in to make go further, making them NOT gluten free. My first server, knew very little about celiac disease. They need to upgrade their menu and make sure the entire staff are on the same page. On the up side, they were open out of season.

Yes, it's true they have an allergen menu, however, there aren't many safe gluten free options for breakfast.

I asked for scrambled eggs, bacon and hash browns (none of which were on the allergen outline) and asked the server to ask the kitchen if they could use uncontaminated pans. They said yes.

In hindsight this was such a gamble as I was on vacation.

I was not glutened.

It was not delicious.

We ate in the Chippewa Room (the nicer, dinner side of the restaurant). The allergen menu is a little hard to decipher, but it's detailed. Broiled fish and potatoes were good and seem like the lowest risk of CC.

Don’t judge a book by it’s cover! Most extensive allergen menu I’ve ever encountered!! Have several food allergies, as well.

Gluten free buns. Had salad, hamburger. No fries were safe, only down side. Got sick earlier in the day, perfect meal! My friend (picky eater) enjoyed her meal, as well.

My waitress was super friendly and reassured me that they would do everything they can to avoid cross contamination. But personally, not many of the options appealed to me, so I got a caesar salad without croutons. It was pretty good though and they will take care of you.

The food was good although slightly expensive - probably to do with its remote location. There is a gf menu which is mainly fish and note that some items listed refer to other restaurants in the building (there are three) so may not be available for where you are eating. (I don’t know why they can’t make them even if you pay more, but there you are...) Gf beer available.

I found my server slightly prickly and rushed (I was dining with a friend and when they had finished, the waitress cleared their plate, gave dessert menu and took order, all while I was still eating main course) and because of that and the restricted menu (dessert was simply sundae), one star down.

Luci, our server, was extremely knowledgeable and kind about providing a gluten free meal. She brought out GF crackers and carrots for me to eat before my meal. Enjoyed the baby spinach salad with chicken.

Audie's has a good allergen list and several choices for eating Gluten Free. The server was aware of kitchen procedures to prevent cross contamination. I had broiled whitefish with baby potatoes and a salad. Everything was good and I experienced no symptoms. My husband is not GF and said his meatloaf with mashed potatoes and gravy was really good.

Their list of allergens is very helpful. Have been here twice, always had whitefish with baked potato. Staff are very nice, but might have to repeat special requests or look at allergen list yourself if it's busy. Will definitely come back again.

We went there tonight. There are two halves to the restaurant. We went to the nicer half on south side. Luci was our waitress and she understood very well. We had baked whitefish and they list the allergens in all their sauces and seasonings. I had New Orleans style. And a baked potato. Was well prepared and tasted very good. Angry Orchard apple cider was good too. @nd time we have visited them. I would recommend this highly.

I'm so sorry, I don't like to write negative reviews. :( But my experience was awful. I had seen such great reviews here but I see the last one was a year ago so maybe things have changed? I felt very limited by their menu, everything was very basic (like plain chicken or a hamburger patty on a plate), couldn't have the french fries, I had a scoop of cottage cheese as a side, my daughter had the "fruit" which was canned fruit and my hamburger was brought out on a tiny plate you'd use for a coffee cup. My friends were laughing at me that they needed a magnifying glass to see it...they all had heaping plates of food. I left hungry. :( Boo.

We just had a great dinner here! Their GF menu gives more allergen detail than most with calling out all the items in the salad dressings, soups, meals. We got eggs, ham, whitefish, and chili. Was a little more expensive than normal but wonderful And staff was VERY knowledgable!!

No stars. They did have GF options, but the food was gross and overpriced. Find better options nearby! Also, the chicken tastes more like fish than the fish itself.

I thought the food was fresh and delicious. I asked for the grilled chicken BLT without a bun and had a cup of chili with it. They broiled the chicken as to not cross contaminate and it was pretty much the best chicken I've ever had. While the inside is out dated and old fashioned, the food was great! The allergen menu is nicely put together.

They have a thorough allergy menu. I had the ny steak with veggies. It came out quick and was ok. Kind of your average diner quality but nice atmosphere and wait staff. Good looking ones too.

Long wait for food, but it is well worth the wait!

They had a list of gluten-free suggestions for their menu, and also other allergens. The wait staff and hostess were very friendly. My son is very sensitive to cross-contamination and did not have a reaction to their ribs. Nice little place and family friendly.
