This used to be our go to place. I’m guessing they’re under new management. They don’t know a thing about gluten. I was told that the grits contained gluten, so the food was sent back to kitchen where it would be remade with potatoes. When the food came back I discovered all they had done was move the original ribs that were still covered with grits on to a new plate. We’ll never be back.

worst glutening experience i’ve ever had in 14 years of being GF. called ahead to confirm gluten free options were available as we were invited to a friend’s birthday celebration there. we were told GF pasta was available and reconfirmed when ordering that it was boiled in a separate, fresh pot of water. server appeared knowledgeable and understood importance. dish was announced to be “bucatini carbonara with gluten free pasta” when delivered to the table. it was a pasta I didn’t recognize, but I’m also from CA and not familiar with options in TX. It was made evident that I was served gluten pasta, as I was violently ill until 3am.
