Avenue Inn & Spa

Update: Avenue Inn is no longer willing to provide ingredients for warm-and-serve potatoes and breakfast meats. What’s the deal? Desk staff repeats (for two years now) that the provider or owner (different answers on different stays) won’t provide ingredient info. I’m limited now to the eggs, coffee, yogurt, milk, juice, fruit, and utensils. Not horrible, but a precipitous drop from 4-5 years ago, and I can’t escape the feeling that they are lying about not having the ingredients to the food they are serving to hundreds of hotel guests.

Original post 2013: Wonderful breakfast room (for hotel guests), serving GF egg casseroles, GF Chex, fruit, juice, yogurt. Anything you want to check, they bring the box out for you to look at ingredients. Great option for a beach town.
