A great meal and experience with our server Nancy. I got the nachos which were just the right size. I'll have to come back for the cornbread and flan another night!!

The food is excellent, staff is attentive and safety knowledgeable. I've never had a problem eating here. The cornbread is amazing. The tacos and nachos are fantastic. I've never tasted anything I didn't like. The prices range from $5/ taco to $30+ for large plates.

My husband and I took our 7 and 9 year old grandsons here. One grandson and I have to eat gluten free. The children’s menu was small but adequate choices. My gf grandson had the cheese quesadilla on corn tortillas. The other grandson had regular chicken quesadilla. It was a generous serving because it was made from a large flour tortilla and cut in fourths. The chips are from a separate fryer and are delicious. The salsa was very spicy, but I liked it. Cheese queso was delicious and generous portion. I had the chicken enchiladas with tomatillos sauce. It was delicious. My husband loved his pork belly bowl. Menu is clearly marked for gf. Cocktails were great.

Had amazing service and loved everything we ordered! My husband, daughter and I shared the chips (which came out hot!) and guac and the cornbread (definitely order!) for starters. I order the chicken enchiladas for my entree, and we shared the Brussels sprouts (so good!) and Mexican street corn. Everything was delicious and I felt so safe with nearly everything marked GF. We would definitely return if in the area.

Absolutely amazing. Much of the menu is inherently gluten free. I went several times and never got sick. The chips are safe. The tacos are amazing. They have GLUTEN FREE CORN BREAD that is so good. And they have a truly unique gluten free dessert - an ube flavored flan (with accoutrements) - and it is to die for. Highly highly recommend for comfort food.

Lots of gluten free options. When the server brought over chips for our table, she proactively communicated that they were safe for me, knowing I had celiac disease.

Wonderful Experience! The staff was very knowledgeable about Celiac and cross contamination. Most of the menu is GF and everything we have was delicious. The chef, who is from Top Chef, came out to our table and chatted with us for a bit. Will return on my next trip to Cary.

I read on Facebook that A’Verde can be really loud for dinner, so we opted to go there for lunch. Many GF options including yummy sweet cornbread and GF corn chips. Highly recommend the pork belly tacos and the okra side. Great place to celebrate a birthday. I did not have any negative reaction after eating here.

I would have given this place 5 stars but I am pretty sure I had a reaction to the chips which were marked as GF.

This place is great for those with celiac. Almost everything is gluten free, and the servers are knowledgeable as well. The kitchen always makes note of the allergy, and I’ve had no issues at all. Amazing drinks as well!!

My best friend has celiac disease so I’m always looking for safe places for her to eat. We called the restaurant in advance and while the person who picked up was not able to help us, we asked to speak to a manager who assured us the restaurant followed strict guidelines and cooked gluten free dishes in a different area and fryer. We ended up going to the restaurant and had a wonderful meal! Service was a little delayed and spotty, but still polite and we enjoyed our experience and it was celiac friendly! Ended up getting fajitas and will order something different next time.

a'Verde Cocina is dinner plus an experience! Every dinner dish is artfully crafted with wonderful flavor, texture, and presentation. The menu provides MANY gluten-free options (nearly the entire menu) as well as dairy-free, vegetarian, and vegan to ensure everyone is included.
The staff is fantastic - had the privilege of sitting in John's section and he was friendly, attentive, and very kind!
I'm not a big drinker, but the bar looked very pretty and the bartender was very kind as well.
I had crispy gluten-free cornbread, octopus tacos, okra, and Ube flan for dessert. It was a symphony of flavors!
