I have Celiac's and Avli is my favorite restaurant with gluten-free options on the North Shore. There are lots of gluten-free entrees and appetizers on the menu (marked with a gf) and the waiters always listen carefully to your allergy needs. I'm both gluten free and dairy free and I've eaten here at least a dozen times and never had a problem -- and the food is sublime. Highly recommended

Plenty of gluten free options and very delicious! I ordered takeout from here and did not get sick. Recommend calling to let them know to mark your order as an allergy if you’re going to get takeout. I have eaten there before and it was a great experience dining in as well. Their gluten free pita is great, and the lemon oregano rice is so delicious.

Delicious pita and chicken. Menu clearly labeled and knowledgeable staff

Based on the previous reviews, they must have learned a lot since - gluten free menu items are designated and they have gf pita. This is a Greek place - Mediterranean style food is very gf by nature and this place affirms that assertion. Nice staff

They have gluten free items on the menu that are not gluten free. Manager was arrogant about pointing out menu mistakes. Avli has no idea of the repercussions and didn't seem to care. If some of the menu is incorrectly labeled it's all wrong.

I've eaten here twice. The first time the pita bread was very soft and squishy. Also the lamb was incredibly delicious and everything came out hot. However, the second time that I went here the chicken was very dry on the outside and one of the pieces with pink in the middle the taziki was much thicker with yogurt and lacking vegetables and the pita bread was very flat. It was such a change between both times but I am willing to go and give it another chance because it wasn't absolutely horrible the second time it was just the low side of average at best. I feel like they might have changed the pita bread type.

Greek fare. Cozy little spot, kind of hard to find. Nestled in a building called The Laundry. Menus that are easy to decipher, loaded with a fair amount of GF items. Gluten Free pita bread and soup.
