Amazing experience! The waitress was knowledgeable, but went to check on a colour coded chart which things were CD safe - and knew the difference between CD and gluten avoidance. When the shared dishes were brought out, each waitress explained which were “coeliac safe” - and there were at least three staff serving our large table. Took great care of everything, in a really friendly way. And the food was amazing!

Staff were super helpful and knew the difference between GF and Ceoliac. Most sushi is ceoliec friendly and they could do the mains altered for ceoliac too. Desserts are GF but not Ceoliac friendly.

Great experience here at Azabu.
Gluten free options are not marked but the staff were able to point out what could not be made GF. Mostly it was full sections of the menu that were GF (ceviche, sashimi, mains and sushi- except one) or not GF (dumplings, bao, tostadas, tempura) which made it easy to remember.
It’s pricey here but very high quality food. Japanese and South American fusion.
Staff were generally good at confirming when the food arrived if it was/wasn’t GF, but this tended to vary by person. Generally, however, they had a good understanding of gluten and coeliac.
