Baba's Burgers & Gyros

Went on 3/5/2018 and this place had shut down! Saw someone outside & they said it went bankrupt.

Oh em gee. This inconspicuous little joint has THE absolute best gluten free burgers I have ever had. THE BEST. It tasted like a yummy greasy burger of my childhood. Hand pressed ground chuck, buttered grilled bun--and I don't know where they get their gluten free buns, but they are the best I've had. We cannot give Baba's a high enough rating. Absolute best burger we've ever had. Ever. And we've traveled to every state in the U.S. and all the provinces of Canada.

We're also gluten free and never have high expectations--and let me tell you we won't ever eat anywhere else in Branson again.

We both had double cheeseburgers and wanted to go back for seconds.

The staff was super knowledgeable about gluten free diets and rattled off the ingredients to the homemade seasoning mix for the seasoned fries without a moment's hesitation, which makes me confident about the place.

The only thing I'm sad about is that I didn't find Baba's sooner.

Edit to add: just found out the owners are from Chicago. No wonder it tastes like my childhood! Total Greek dive.

We are always very skeptical of new places since our 4-year-old has celiac and...she's a picky 4-year-old. Everything we ordered (I had a cheeseburger, husband had the elk burger, and kiddo had a hamburger) was delicious. Workers knew about gluten free precautions and it took a lot of the stress out of eating out!

Baba's was very easy to eat at with no gluten. Chefs and cashier were very comfortable speaking about gluten free and the food. The gf bun was great and the cashier even commented that its hard to find a good tasting gf bun, so obviously he has tasted it. Great place and would love to go again.

Best burger we have had in a long time! The employees were very nice when we asked for GF. We will come back!

Good toasted bun! Had the Buffalo cheeseburger and it was delish. Not a huge sandwich but perfect portion size. Fries were pretty good but not dedicated fryer.

Best! Ever! We come to Branson a lot and they never fail you. Bring some chips though because the burger is only GF thing on the menu. ☺

Having Celiac, I was worried going here based from other reviews, however not disappointed in the least! I had an Elk cheeseburger with bacon, mushrooms and their special spicy guacamole (even though I don't like guac). All on a GF bun. This was by far the best burger I've eaten in quite a while.

The downside here is don't get the fries, as they still have a shared frier. Once they move to a bigger location, they may be able to include this. I say once they do, because the food was absolutely delicious, and everything you would want from a burger! Our next trip, I expect to see this place booming.

The staff was not educated about celiac disease and said they did not have a separate place for food prep. Fries are fried in a common fryer. Was very disappointed

Soft yet perfectly toasted gf bun, amazing burger, I heard their grilled chicken sandwich is also delicious. Fries are made in a shared fryer. Staff was knowledgeable & kind.

Hands down the best burger I have ever had gf or otherwise. The bun is fantastic and so is the service. Their sides are made in a common fryer but they prepare their burgers and chicken sandwiches separately. Order a cheeseburger you won't be sorry!

Soft, Chewy, toasted bun. Best I've had since gf 10 years ago. Elk burger with spicy guacamole and all the trimmings was great.

The BEST!!! Absolutely the best burger and bun!!! Staff was knowledgeable and friendly!!

Spicy Guacamole was spicy and delicious! The prices are great!!!

The gluten free bun is actually with bragging about. I have a severe gluten allergy and they seem to do very well at keeping me from reacting. I can't say that very often when I go out to eat. The elk burger is AMAZING
