Bagel Chateau of Madison!

They don’t have a gluten free dedicated menu or space HOWEVER... they have amazing bagels, wraps and bakery items. They are extremely cautious and aware of celiac and although can’t promise 100% gf. They do everything in the might to make it safe.. food is amazing!!! Been coming here for two years now.

Terrible experience I waited on line to find out they DO NOT have gf breads pancakes etc. even though they had 2 signs listing all the gf products they serve. Regular bagels are small and not very good according to my family. Poor choice even if you are not gf

I'm not into bothering to give a review if it's bad...so I'm tempted to give this place at least 2 stars but.... I am thoroughly unimpressed. Quality of food is meh. The GF bagels seemed exactly the same as The Ridge Bagel is Basking Ridge which I love toasted w Nutella. They don't have Nutella here. Bummer. Wanted Lox and Dairy Free cfeam cheese. Alas...they don't have Dairy Free cream cheese either. Got egg sandwiches on Gf toast... the toast was some of the worst I had and they upcharged through the nose for it. Got the pea soup as someone else recomended....it was bleh. Sandwich meats are Thumans. They have long lines and are seemingly popular right now...1130am Saturday. I don't get why...at all. Oh....also they insist they have or will have Rye Gf available. Really? How is that possible....Rye inherantly has gluten in it. Myimpression is contamination is likely and staff is not knowledgable.

This place is a gem! An especially wonderful Taylor Ham and Egg on GF toast. They also have GF bagels and GF coffee cake. Their soup of the day is always labeled if it is GF or not (the split pea with ham is GF and is delicious ). I go here often with my daughters and we find it to be clean, friendly, tasty, and (for this area) reasonably priced. Just as an FYI there are a lot of negative reviews on Yelp about this place but they do not match my experience at all. We go here at least twice a month and have always had a positive experience.
