The food was delicious and well cooked and I appreciated the variety on offer.
Lots of gluten free options really helped that they had a dedicated fryer. Staff were familiar with the menu and knew what celiac meant. They knew to advise that quesadilla was not celiac safe due to fried shallots. I’m always reassured when staff point out the unsafe food before I have to ask.
On thanking the manager when paying for the variety of celiac friendly food and the fryer they advised that restaurant had made a conscious decision to be celiac friendly. They decided this after feedback from a celiac customer. Customer increase after the word getting around appears to mean they have seen the business case for taking care of our community.
