Bamboo Cantonese Take Away

If you are coeliac please DO NOT order here. The person on the phone did not understand the cross contamination of cooking in the same frier and also thinks the heat 'kills' gluten. He got quite abrupt when I tried to point out that this is not the case. This is not coeliac friendly and should not be advertised as such as they do not have enough knowledge or understanding.

Did not eat here wife is coeliac was told by guy behind counter that the hot oil gets rid of all gluten...then got aggressive when we pointed out it isn't...don't know how they got such good reviews

Called Bamboo Chinese tonight to ask if they have a GF menu as I had called a few takeaways and been rudely told no, was told on the phone the takeaway had changed how they cook all products and majority of the dishes were now GF outwith curry sauce products. I ordered the Kung Po, rice and salt/chilli chips(chips adapted to suit GF as normally cooked in batter). Really good Chinese takeaway with very friendly and knowledgeable staff. 100% recommend.
