This restaurant has been our go-to for sushi and family outings since they first opened more than 10 years ago. I was recently diagnosed with celiac and this was my first time eating out after my diagnosis. We're regulars and the waiter knows us. I told him I had been diagnosed with celiac and that I strictly couldn't have gluten. We talked about the miso and he said it had gluten so I skipped it. The first bite I took was the spicy tuna roll. I knew almost immediately I'd been glutened. Turns out there is tempura crunch on the spicy tuna roll. I was SO disappointed. I had thought it would be safe.
