One of my go-to places in Seattle. Menu clearly marks gluten-free items. it’s Farm to Table brunch food, some with a middle eastern twist. It’s easy to sub out dairy items (I ask them to substitute hummus). Delicious gluten-free bread.
Lovely service. Fantastic venue with a bistro dining room, a large airy veranda (with heaters) and an outdoor shed. I try to get there by 11 AM for lunch or after 1 pm so that I can eat in the veranda.
Daytime café menu is available from 8:00am–3:00pm daily for dine-in and takeout. during the day, they are a walk-up counter service café. No reservations.
The dinner menu is served tuesday–saturday from 5:00pm with happy hour from 4:00–6:00pm. Reservations needed.
Superb location in Ballard on a tree-lined Street with lots of shops. On Sunday the street is where the Ballard farmers’ market is. In that case it’s best to go there between 8 AM through 9:30 AM so you don’t have to stand in line for a long time. (It is worth the wait.)
