Meh. Very fancy (if that’s what you’re looking for). I was excited to check it out. Been to Barcelona city a few times and had great food experiences.
No one offered to write on my menu, nor give good gluten free suggestions. Menu isn’t easy to navigate unless you have deep familiarity with Spanish special and regional foods. I couldn’t google as much as I wanted to having social time with a group of friends.
I *extracted* gf info from our busy server, my group ordered a couple of meh boards and a tapa. We arrived intentionally during happy hour but were not given that menu to look at. Bread crumbs do fly everywhere. It’s dark inside once it’s evening - to the point where we couldn’t easily see our food or possible cross contact, having both gf and bread on a big table. I think I made it through okay, didn’t eat as much as I wanted.
Wine was great! Loved the small pour option. Server seemed too busy to talk about the wine but it was clear they knew their stuff. There were empty tables around us though. I don’t mind spending money on good food. Overall it was weird. I think you could make it much safer if you visit with folks who don’t care about having bread.
