The owner was incredibly knowledgeable about what I could and could not have. I am celiac and have a soybean allergy so I was unable to have anything fried but I could have all the tacos!

While I love a place that allows celiac people to eat safely, I also believe in honest reviews. They have a dedicated fryer they can use for gf items, great news. Tried loaded shredded potatoes, tater tots and 2 different tacos and didn’t like any of it. My friends eating with me didn’t enjoy their food either (they had different tacos on flour tortillas). So while it is listed as safe, it’s below average on taste with a strange after taste on fried items especially.

We had Barque BC cater an event for 75 people. The owner took so much care to make sure all the gluten friendly folks were able to eat without fear! It was so nice to finally have so many options to eat at an event! All of the food was just amazing and gluten free! Guests couldn’t stop raving about it all!!

There are very few restaurants I can eat at without a bad reaction, this is one of the safe places. The owner is often in the restaurant and said his wife has celiac. They are extremely cautious. Staff is always friendly and happy to answer questions or make alterations to menu items if requested. The homemade tater tots are amazing, the order is small (6 tots) but they are full of flavor! The food is sized like a taqueria and priced to match! We love it here and will continue to stop in!!!

Some menu items better than others. But great variety as any item on the menu can made gluten free. Quality of food in general was very good. Felt awesome after the meal. No bad reactions. But I am only gluten sensitive. Staff was very friendly.

I love this place. I have celiacs disease and it is so comforting to eat out where the restaurant is knowledgeable about being gluten free. The food is delicious and I could eat without worry. This place rocks. Btw my family is not gluten free and they can't quit talking about how good the food was. This is my go.to place whenever I am in Bay City.

Really fun and delicious. Knowledgeable about gluten free, cleaned the cooking surface without me asking, and lots of options. My daughter had gf mac n cheese and we appreciated the attention to detail- They even had gf breadcrumbs on top. I had the trough nachos with pulled pork, and would now like to have avocado cream on all my food. The staff were friendly and cheerful. They clearly love the food they’re serving.

The aesthetic is very cozy and the food was amazing!! I ordered the pulled pork taco with a side of beans. One of the best tacos I’ve had in a long time! The owner was so kind and pan fried some chips for me since I couldn’t have their fried ones due to shared fryer. I definitely recommend going here!

The owners understand what Celiac is as one of them are Celiac. Everything on the menu can be made gluten free. The food is really good and I recommend the ribs.

Wow! Owner’s wife has celiac so everyone is extremely knowledgeable and careful. Food is absolutely incredible and atmosphere is really nice. I can’t recommend enough- GO HERE!
