I had a wonderful meal at Barrels and Boards! Our waitress was knowledgeable and friendly. She personally checked with the kitchen to be certain that the ingredients in the dish I wanted would be safe for me. My meal was delivered separately and was marked appropriately. I had the scallops and polenta and oh my was it good! The manager later checked in with us to make sure everything was good. He explained how the kitchen handles food allergies. I felt very safe, had a terrific meal and will definitely be back!

I loved it here! I got the candied bacon for an app, the grilled chicken avocado sandwhich for my entree, and creme brulee for desert. Everything was delicious. The waitress was very knowledgeable and put a comment on my order that cross contamination was not okay (and this was also reflected on my reciept). There is not a dedicated fryer but I had their mashed as a side and it was super creamy. Overall I felt safe and I will be coming back!

I really wanted to like this place. They have a great gluten-free selection with pizza, pasta, burgers, and the normal good options. But from a taste standpoint I was let down both times I went. The bun on the burger was dry and overall it was pretty tasteless. Also, the wedge salad was nothing special. It could have simply been iceberg lettuce that was sitting in the fridge for several days and blue cheese dressing off the grocery store shelf. I will say the crème brûlée was gluten-free and that was delicious. Other than that I’ve sadly been disappointed. I’ll still give them another shot and try some thing else on the menu next time. .
