There are many gf options on the menu, but unfortunately not celiac safe. They told me they put several gluten containing sandwiches on the grill. Everything is cooked on the grill, so they do not have the option of cooking in a pan and did not offer to clean a portion of the grill (although maybe they would during an off time). Very disappointed after reading all of the good reviews.

This eatery is well versed regarding Gf, Celiac and food allergies! My go to is the fish tacos on the corn tortilla with a side of quac! They are delicious! I have also had their Philly cheese steak, but in a wrap! Another hit! The owners are on premise and is run like a well oiled wheel. There is something for everyone! A favorite of mine!

I had read the reviews and have been very skeptical about some of my local places, particularly places that use so much bread buns and flour. Under the recommendation of this app, I went in when it was very slow and asked for the gluten-free fish tacos, they were amazing, and I had no cross-contamination the way they prepared for me. If only they were open year-round, I can recommend that they’re helpful if you tell them you are celiac

Had ice cream here- the banana ice creamand raspberry chip yogurt. They have a book to show the ingredients- Gave 4 instead of 5 cause the book was helpful but a little inconvenient when there is a line of people behind you

The manager showed us the list of ingredients of ice cream and then had her staff go into the back to get my daughter’s from a new container with a new scoop. So cautious and helpful! So appreciative!!!

Barry’s is always so accommodating! I gotta get my cheesesteak fix while I’m on the island, so I’ll either order a cheesesteak with no bread (they put it in a container) or ask for corn tortillas with it and make my own tacos. So good and they are very knowledgeable.

Excellent. When I said I needed to be GF, they asked if I had Celiac, then they marked my order that way. I got the grilled fish tacos with corn tortillas, my wife got the blackened fish, both delicious. At dessert, they also brought out the hot fudge container to confirm it was GF. Also, in terms of price and quality of what you get, this is one of the best deals on LBI.
