The food was good, but a bit overpriced for portion sizes. Menu items were clearly marked. I gave a 1 star rating because I started feeling ill before even leaving the restaurant and had a reaction before I even got home. Things were either cross contaminated or not gluten free.
Update 9/12/22 after management comments: I am extremely clear every single time I eat out at any restaurant that cross contamination makes me ill. I clarify cooking surfaces, methods, and gf preparation. The reason I had a reaction was not from inadequacies on my part, but due to untrained staff and unsafe labels on the menu. I challenge you to do better to the gluten free and celiac community by safely and appropriately updating your menu to specify if there is a cross contamination issue
— Not at all
— Gluten-free items are marked on the main menu
— Some
— Good
If you have an intolerance to gluten cross contamination, please always inform your server. Our menu items denote GF but items that are fried are fried in the same fryer as our gluten items. Majority of our guests do not have an intolerance to gluten cross contamination and can enjoy a majority of our menu safely.
With any food allergy or disease that is affected by cross contamination, it is strongly recommended that every individual takes accountability for their health and inform the restaurant/your server so that they can then insure that the chefs preparing your food take the necessary precautions to protect you.
