Review of Basil's Restaurant

In the Marquette Hotel. We named the reservation on OpenTable where we list all my allergy issues. The server told me the sous chef would come to the table and talk through the menu. He said he'd love to come up with a dish since they weren't busy and we gave them a head's up. He made a delicious scallops meal, and came out to explain in. Then, get this, he thanked me for the chance to make something different. He also tailored my husband's meal so I could taste that as well. Good form!
