Basmati Indian Restaurant

The restaurant’s menu and website do not mention gf, but my friends wanted to go to Basmati and it is popular. I made sure to arrive early and asked the server about gf menu items. He said most of the menu was in fact gf and listed the items that were not. He recommended skipping the appetizers all together because they were prepared in a common fryer. I ordered Chicken Korma and a mango lassi and had rice, and it was all very good. I will go there again.

+3 stars because their food was amazing.

-2 stars because I am pretty sure their gluten-free naan made me sick. I suspect it was cooked in a non-dedicated fryer. I was so excited that they had gluten-free naan that I forgot to ask how it was cooked!

This is a great place if you are following a gluten-free diet, but I do not recommend it to anyone with Celiac's with severe reactions from cross-contamination.
