Owners and staff very knowledgeable and helpful about gluten. Most items gf mention gluten issue and they will change gloves. Key lime pie is gf. Brisket and ribs were items we had. Very very good. Large portions. Sides were quite good. Bartender is going to try to get Redbridge in!!!

Amazing gem of a place, fantastic food, and a staff that makes you feel like family. The owners have their own health issues so they take care to ensure that others’ health needs are met. This means that the menu clearly indicates which items have allergens and which don’t. Most items do not contain gluten, including their Texas BBQ smoked meats and all of their house made sauces. They even have a locally made gluten free mead that’s sounded good, but we had a long drive ahead of us.
We had a dinner plate for two with brisket, ribs, jalapeño slaw, and potato salad. The meats were tender and juicy, and the sides were unique and flavorful. For dessert we had an amazing gluten free pumpkin cheesecake. Wow!
If you’re in the area, don’t think twice. Just go to Batchelor’s Pad. You will not regret it.
