Bavaro’s Pizza Napoletana & Pastaria

Server was not at all knowledgeable about celiac or gluten allergies. There is no gluten free menu. However you can order any of their pasta dishes with gluten free noodles. The meatballs contain gluten, the homade sausage does not. No GF pizza options. Shrimp/cream sauce was fantastic. Chef seemed to understand after several questions to the server and much back and forth. Nothing marked gluten free, only option is listed to order gluten free pasta. Server has no idea if the salad dressings were gluten free. Food was delicious. No gluten problems afterwards.

No gf pizza but stellar gf pasta! I got the penne alla vodka and it was one of the best pasta dishes I’ve ever had. Very cute restaurant, check it out!

The server was amazing and very conscientious about my GF meal. I had meat and cheese off the antipasto tray—so delicious! They have gluten free pasta (imported from Italy) or a veggetti selection. I had the pasta with crema sauce and added sausage. It was so good. The owner came over to talk to me and told me he has started eating only the gluten-free pasta and loves it. The chocolate hazelnut gelato is to die for, so be sure and save room.
