Had high hopes as much of the menu was labeled GF. Communicated celiac and issue with cross-contamination in fryers etc and they said no problem, anything that goes into the fryer can be prepared separately in a pan. Ordered 5-6 dishes all marked GF and asked for whatever modifications needed for GF. Was in the restroom when the first one came out and friends relayed that the server reassured that shrimp chips were GF and made of tapioca. Next 4-5 dishes come out and upon conversation as I was suspicious- none are GF bc of actual wheat or cross contamination in fryer. They said I will “need to order more food then.” Awkward as they did not offer to make Again. Also then learn…the shrimp chips I ate were NOT GF. So, I asked for a couple dishes to be remade with any fried items on the side or pan fried. Overall a very unfortunate experience for an establishment seeming to be knowledgeable about GF. 🥺 food was all good so if you’re not Celiac than give it a whirl.
