I checked with the owner, and the gluten-free donuts are made in a separate fryer, separate from all other items in the store. They are also prepackaged in a 2-pack, as you can see in the photo. I haven't had a real donut in over a decade, but these tasted very similar to the original. I did not experience any side effects (other than a sugar high ;-)
