I was absolutely mortified at how rude the staff were to me. When l told the owner that his staff were rude to me he said, "no they weren't because we serve food with love." I could not believe hos response and was absolutely dumbfounded by how ignorant he was of his rude staff member who pulled a mean face at me. Anyway the food is horrible at this restaurant as the cakes are hard and rubbery and the coffee l was served was cold. I did complain but when l did the waitress pulled a mean face at me and when l complained it was ignored and thrown back in my face. I will never go to this restaurant again and strongly advise others to steer clear of this business as they do not care about customer service.

I cannot recommend Bean and Woods highly enough! Great staff and so many options I could barely decide! These people know exactly how to feed a coeliac. I’ll be back! Oh…. And HOT coffee! Bliss

Definitely one of the best cafe experiences I've ever had (and probably the best pizza of my life as well).

Almost everything on the menu was (or could be made gluten free, completely separate). All wood-fired pizzas are gf.

The owner said he looked after a little girl that was Coeliac several years ago, and wanted her to be able to eat anywhere. He now makes sure Coeliacs can always feel at home and eat what they want at his place. It was the sweetest experience.

I had heard about this through facebook pages, thought I would try it out. I was not dissappointed! Nearly everything is able to be made gluten free!! The owner was all about inclusiveness and had a great knowledge of gluten free. Nearly everything in their display case was gluten free. I had eggs benedict on gluten free vienna bread (from just yummy). Delicious! It will be my go to place now, coffee was great too! Friendly staff and atmosphere, they even pop a gluten free sticker on the plate to ensure you get the right order.

Best gluten free place in Melbourne. Knowledgeable staff on gluten free and allergy friendly. Sources best ingredients and has so much passion to please the customer. So glad we found this place.

Staff is super accomodating. And the kitchen takes the time to make sure there is no cross contamination. I am super reactive to gluten and have never had a reaction when eating here.

I believe the owner’s sister is a coeliac and has most of the menu available as GF. They are very knowledgeable and super friendly. They go above and beyond to make sure it’s safe. Highly recommended
