They don’t have a dedicated gluten-free menu but I was told many of their items can be made gluten-free. I ended up talking with the chef because it didn’t seem like the waitress was very familiar with what could be made gluten-free. I ended up ordering the salmon and the chef told me that it is usually cooked on a piece of wood that has been soaked in beer, but they could get a fresh piece of wood without beer on it. The waitress marked gluten allergy on the ordering system as well. When the server brought out the food I asked if it was a new piece of wood and she at first said yes but then when I told her this was for an allergy, she would go back and talk to the kitchen. It turns out they had not used a new piece of wood and my food was brought out on a beer soaked one. I was very concerned by their protocol as gluten allergy was clearly marked and the server, without truly knowing, made an assumption thought it was not on a beer soaked a piece of wood. They ended up making me a new one and the food was certainly delicious, but I do not trust their protocols in place nor the knowledge of the staff and will not be returning.
