Solid, reliable, tasty diner fare with Maine vibes (ie lots of blueberries on the menu). I got GF toast, scrambled eggs, and bacon, shared yogurt and fruit bowl (so good, not your average fruit bowl). Server was knowledgeable about cross contamination. Got a GF cupcake to go - it was my birthday, but ate so much was not hungry so saving it for later. Not a ton of GF options, or else would have given it 5 stars.

I ordered eggs eggs, bacon and toast and told the waitress I had celiac. She pleasantly said that I shouldn’t have the home fries and the safest would be poached eggs. She also confirmed the toast would be made separately. Overall a pleasant experience.

No gf menu but incredibly helpful and aware waitstaff who could assist in guiding you to what is safe. Great all day diner.

We ate breakfast here this morning. Our waitress identified as having Celiac and her advice to me was: choose either poached or over easy eggs; the bacon is safe and there’s GF toast from a dedicated toaster. My preference had been an omelet but at least today, having one prepared in a separate pan was not an option. My breakfast was fine and I appreciated her help since I would not like an accidental ingestion of gluten to ruin a good vacation day.

They offer gluten free bread. They also will use a separate pan to make your gluten free order to avoid cross contamination.
Haddock chowder was gf and delicious.
Yes
The haddock chowder is gluten free and really good!
I told the waitress I was celiac and she quickly acknowledge me but it seem like I could of been saying anything to her. shortly afterwards I was sick 😯 not a safe place for celiac's
No
Eaten here a few times. Stopped going because of the limited options for GF. No separate prep area and depending on staff, no concept of cross contamination concerns. The waffles were so overpriced and they were just VANS waffles warmed up that you can buy in the freezer aisle of your grocery store. Laughable.
No
food was cross contaminated, which is frustrating because they had a large gluten free menu but clearly no a separate cooking space
NOT safe for celiacs. I called ahead and they said it was fine. When we got there, the only things safe were eggs, a premade muffin and toast. not my idea of a good gf breakfast.
Delicious French toast on GF bread (big slices, so much better than any other gf bread I've had).
Not a real GF menu, the waitress was not at all accommodating. Everything on the lunch menu was fried. I felt very uncomfortable, which is becoming less and less common when ordering GF. Strongly do not rec.
This place is awesome, friendly service, good prices and a dedicated GF toaster. Very Celiac Friendly!!!! They have staff that have celiac so they actually do care. Thank you Becky's

Their GF bread and muffins come from Bam Bam Bakery, so you know they're safe. The Commericial St breakfast sandwich on GF white bread is always great! Also, being able to get a turkey club again is amazing! They use real pieces of turkey (not thinly sliced deli meat) which, let's be honest, is the only way to do it! They have a dedicated GF toaster, and always say it might take a bit longer to get my meal, but I've never had a single issue. The service is quick, friendly, and they keep the coffee coming.
Came here for breakfast while visiting Portland. I had the Ham and Cheese Omelet, with GF raisin bread toasted. Very good. Large portions.
Absolutely delightful...they have a gf designated toaster with fantastic gf bread. The fish chowder is also gf and great served along with a piece of buttered toast. Try some broiled haddock as well. Our waitress, Lucy, was fabulous.
Has GF bread & muffins!
