We are here as I write this review. This place needs to be removed from this list. They don’t accommodate at all. They share equipments even with the toasts. It’s a big no.

Came here when I was staying in Lake Arrowhead for the week and was excited they had gf waffles back! I’ve tried to come a few times and they had always been out. I got the monte cristo waffle (can’t remember what it’s called on the menu) and it was absolutely delicious. The waffle was a great texture and it came with all of the works you would expect for this traditional dish. Just call before you go to verify they have the batter! I sat outside with a cool breeze by the lake and couldn’t have had a better time. Staff was exceptional. Food was a big treat. And the day was beautiful.

No more gluten-free waffles. There is gluten free bread that most sandwiches can be made with. Limited breakfast items.

NO LONGER HAVE GLUTEN FREE WAFFLE!!!! OR EGG SUBSTITUTE OR GLUTEN FREE TOAST. Supplier apparently went out of business with the pandemic.

no longer have gf waffles as of now and don’t know if they will get them back But they still have gf bread and buns, the breakfast potatoes are amazing! Plus good thick bacon!

No gluten free waffles available even though they have this as an option on the menu. This is pretty much the bulk of what they offer for breakfast. I don’t get a severe reaction so I opted for sausage and eggs and potatoes. I believe there was some cross contamination. Not good for true celiacs.

We drove an hour out of our way to get here for gf waffles. They apparently didn’t have any anymore. At a waffle restaurant. Super disappointing! Literally the only thing they could offer instead was some subpar toast so I went with that and eggs and potatoes. The potatoes were bland, the toast was uneventful (as plain white bread typically is), and on top of that they slapped some bacon on top after I specifically and clearly asked *twice* to leave the meat off my plate. So now everything is saturated with that disgusting flavor. Not to mention the service was less than stellar and they refused to serve you if it wasn’t their specific job for your specific table. We had to flag people down multiple times. I have zero desire to return here. Save your pennies and go to Denny’s or something.

Menu clearly marked which items are gluten free. Just beware of gluten free waffle as it’s cooked on same waffle iron as regular waffles so cross contamination could be an issue.

After reading other reviews we thought the GF waffles would be safe. The cook told us they use the same waffle iron as non-GF waffles. Be careful!

Celiac friendly?

My wife has celiac and gets a very bad reaction when she eats anything that contains gluten. We had about an hour wait for this place. It was well worth the wait. Their menu contains items that are designated gluten free, their staff is very knowledgeable and their service was excellent. We ordered the gluten free waffle and Belgian scramble gluten free. It was amazing!

I ate the chicken salad sandwich for lunch. The staff was knowledgeable and helpful. Great spot on the lake too!

Absolutely fantastic gluten free waffles!!! I have celiac and I'm highly sensitive and I didn't get sick. Highly recommend!
