Had dinner at Bella Ciao for restaurant week. Menu lists gluten free pasta and pizzas available for an up charge. Because there were no reviews and I’m always leery about those in a non-GF kitchen I opted for the strip steak with potatoes and arugula salad. Notified the waitress of my allergy and she noted it. After she entered our purser she came back and let me know that the demi glacé sauce that came with the steak was not GF and did I want to omit that. Which I appreciated. Steak was good quality and seasoned well everything was mid temp, felt like it sat in the window a bit. Service was good and my dining companions enjoyed their meals.
