I stopped in today while driving through Raleigh. I had the gluten free focaccia bread, it was excellent. My meal tested positive for gluten when I used my Nina gluten sensor so I could not eat it. I ordered the chicken polenta. The manager was very apologetic and understanding and not sure how cross contamination happened but told me they do take precautions and clean very well. I’m hopeing the bread was not contaminated as I didn’t test it but I could still tell it was gluten free by the texture. I’d recommend this place to the non celiacs but not sure if it’s safe for celiacs. My gluten sensor was wrong on one other occasion and I’d eaten the food when the results showed gluten and I had no reaction.. I’m not sure what to think about my visit today. Great customer service and I felt like they really do care about keeping customers with allergies safe.
