Delicious!! I got the “entree platter” with meat, black beans, exceptional rice and plantains. I asked about yucca fries and one employee said they were GF and another said they are not (we skipped).

Went for breakfast. Options were limited to just the omelette and sides. Good but not seasoned and I forgot to ask. Freshly prepared. Watched them change gloves and wipe down.

This food is so freaking tasty!!! I had the mojo pork with rice, beans and even fried plantains! Their plantains are fried in small batches in separate oil! Beni even wipes the counter down and changes gloves before preparing a GF meal. All of their plates are GF and big portions that fill you up! Even though they have a lot of bread I felt super safe because of their precautionary steps!

As a Celiac DragonCon attendee, I’m always looking for nearby gluten free food options. I'm so glad they are open extra hours during the con, and the owner is there all day throughout the weekend. The owner at Beni's did his research and knows how to take care of his Celiac customers. All the entrée plates are gluten free, he knows what’s safe, and he changes his gloves and sanitizes the counters before preparing food if you let him know you are Celiac. The plantains have a safe fryer. Ask for a manager before you order to make sure the staff understand your needs.I’ve eaten there three times so far this weekend with no reactions. It's a little pricey, but not only is it safe, it's DELICIOUS, and the owner and staff are marvelous. You're paying for quality. So I'm happy to support them. Try the puerco asado and the cuban coffee.
