Ben's Huli Huli Chicken

Great owner and great food!

This place should not be listed as a dedicated GF kitchen. Two items on the desert menu, fried banana dessert and fried lumpia have wheat flour wrappings (found this out from the owner). The menu should list these allergens but it does not. A dedicated GF kitchen should have NO GF products at all.

Also the crunchy salad toppings they serve are made from wheat and rice flour. Unfortunately we found this out too late and got cross contaminated and my very sensitive wife got sick.

The staff were very apologetic and replaced the salad w/o toppings but they were not very knowledgeable about the handling needs of gluten intolerant or celiacs people. This place is more for people who only want GF food as a dietary choice. A true dedicated GF kitchen has no gluten products whatsoever.
