Went today. A bit busy make reservations if you can. Had a gluten free crab cake sandwich, large portion with grits. Bun was good, food portion nice, crabcake good too. Waiter was new but checked on everything for me. Would go back.

It was great to have crab cakes that didn’t have gluten. There’s a separate gf menu and the server asked me if cross contact was an issue. No issues afterwards. They also had gf dessert options.

I am personally not a seafood person so I got the burger and while they did have a gluten free bun, I just got it on a bed of lettuce, but it was a great burger. The waiter asked if it was preference or allergy and when I said allergy (it’s easier for me instead of saying celiac) he immediately said that he would take care of it and make sure it was cooked separate. They did have a gluten free menu that had a few options!

I had a gluten free crabcake. It looked like they took a can of lump crab, dumped it on the plate and microwaved it. I was with out of town guests so I didn't make a fuss. Worst meal I ever saw or tasted.

Many options on separate gluten free menu. Had oysters on the half shell, Brussel sprouts. My husband had GF flat bread pizza and salad. All very good.

This place had good reviews and a good gluten-free menu. However, our server clearly thinks being GF is a joke, as he walked up and said, “Here’s your water and its gluten free!” When we were ordering, he said that most things on the menu can be adapted for gluten-free but they wouldn’t be very good. I definitely had symptoms later that evening and the next day, so I’m not sure if it was the server being so careless and thinking it’s a joke, or whether it’s the actual restaurant/kitchen.

We had an excellent meal. The server seemed knowledgeable about gluten. I highly recommend the balsamic Brussel sprout appetizer.

Great experience. Server ask as soon as sat down on any food issues. He double checked every thing I ordered to reassure me. Food was great!

Very slow service Ordered crab cake got one with very chucky mashed potatoes Ordered what is was told a brownie (gf) and ice cream, Brownie was a thin piece of very rich chocolate not tasty at all. Will not eat here again.

This is a lovely restaurant with excellent service. Very quiet atmosphere if you sit inside. They were careful about my gluten free selections.

Great experience. I have celiac, I had no reaction and the food I was able to choose from was delicious. I have eaten here twice. The server was super helpful both times, knowledgeable and I felt very safe. No reaction, just great dinner out. Highly recommend to anyone with Celiac.

Normally, we don’t chose a seafood restaurant but the family was feeling adventurous. We were pleasantly surprised at all the options that were available to us (I have celiac and my husband and daughter are vegetarian). The service was impeccable and as soon as I told the waiter about my gf needs, he began making suggestions as to what items would be safe for me. I had a filet mignon with a gf crab cake and an amazing gf brownie for dessert. My husband and daughter were equally as impressed with their meals as I was and, despite being nearly four hours away, we are considering driving down just to have a meal again! Berett’s was a wonderful discovery and well worth it!

Ordered crab cakes with clear instructions that I would get sick with cross contamination. Gluten free food arrived and failed a Nima tester. I ordered new food with the safest possible choices (shrimp cocktail and oysters). I am now feeling super sick and covered in a celiac rash a few hours later. Not safe for celiac.

They had gf rolls that were good. I had the Mahi Mahi with cheesy rice, and asparagus. It has a honey mustard sauce that wasn’t that great and the fish wasn’t seasoned very well. The rice was very good if you’re not lactose intolerant. I didn’t like the crab cake. I gave a 4 because I’ve had better fish and the crab cakes were blah. They also had two gf dessert options but I didn’t get them.

Gluten Free Crab Cakes. I repeat. Gluten Free Crab Cakes! It was so good we went there twice! First time I had the crab cake meal for dinner, second time I had the crab cake sandwich for lunch. I much preferred the sandwich! It was SOOOO good! Highly recommend!

Great meal!! They have a lengthy gf menu. But all their dishes have a side of mashed potatoes or parmessan rice...did not work for me with lactose intollerance. But, the brought me extra veggies. And...the rolls were excellant!! You DO have to ask for them, but oh so good!

Amazing! Delicious GF crab cakes! They also have GF buns for hamburgers and other sandwiches.

Stopped for a quick Celiac safe lunch on the way through town and was pleasantly surprised to have an amazing meal. Plenty of GF lunch options, including a very tasty fish BLT. Friendly staff and good service.

Staff was very knowledgeable and our waitress was very understanding and accommodating. They had a great gluten free menu and a good atmosphere. I had a cheeseburger with asparagus on a gluten free bun and it was very well presented and cooked. I have pretty bad celiac and had no issues I would definitely recommend.

The staff was knowledgeable about the needs of a person with celiac disease and my daughter loved that she got to eat a pre-dinner GF roll too! She said it and her meal (crab cake sandwich) were delicious. So happy to have found the restaurant!

I thoroughly enjoyed my dinner here. There were lots of gluten free food choices from appetizers to desserts. The gluten free crab cakes were delicious. I recommend gluten free customers to go and enjoy a wonderful meal.
