French fries are gluten free as there is a dedicated fryer but I would be careful with the burger buns- they look gluten free but they were calling everything “low gluten” when I asked about gluten free options

Sensitive coeliac review - the staff at Betty’s Burgers Byron are so across GF, coeliac as an allergy & cross contamination! They have zero problem with making sure we have safe and DELICIOUS meals. The GF burger buns are so soft! Seperate fryer for fries too, so they are CD safe!

Spoke to the staff who were all across Coeliac and cross contamination. Boosts your confidence. They have seperate fryer, change gloves and prepare the GF meals separately. I have eaten at a few Betty’s Burgers and never had a problem with getting ill. Highly recommended.

I was a little sceptical to eat here as the menu stated “low gluten” and not GF but the staff were super helpful. The burgers are safe for coeliacs however the LG is to highlight that there are non gluten products in the kitchen and risk of contamination but they will clean services etc to ensure safe preparation. The fries are also cooked in a separate fryer and the GF bun is also DF. For a GF and DF meal I had Bettys Original without the cheese with fries. The bettys special sauce was safe and also the vegan aioli was an added bonus! All in all a really tasty burger and fries and NO symptoms!!

Absolutely not celiac-safe. Would not recommend at all - not sure why it’s so highly rated. They have no idea about cross contamination, staff didn’t appear to change gloves or clean spaces. Everything was being touched. Luckily, I was able to cancel my order because it took 30 mins and they kept forgetting about it. After watching them handling the food because they took so long, thank god I didn’t have to throw it out!

As a person with a gluten intolerance, this meal was super tasty and the gf bun was so fluffy. I assume they cooked it on a different grill as it said on the website. overall good experience for people who are looking for new options :)
