Ate here for lunch with my husband yesterday. He ordered the salmon and shrimp risotto, I got the chicken and sausage. When we sat down, our waitress noticed right away that we had gluten-free menus and did not set bread down at the table. She offered is fresh gluten-free bread/pizza dough for the table. It was delicious!
When my meal came, I noticed the potatoes that were supposed to be on the plate were not there. I asked our waitress who checked with the chef. The chef did not put the potatoes on due to cross-contamination and did not want me to get sick so offered different safe sides instead. I got mashed potatoes. I felt great knowing he took that extra precaution. The food was great and we will definitely be eating here again.
No gluten reaction, and I’m extremely sensitive (celiac)!
