Staff is careful with the food preparation but clearly not knowledgeable about celiac disease. The ingredients are all separate buffet-style and plain, so if you order the correct items there should be less risk of cross-contamination. However, thus is not the case for the meats, be aware that it is soaked in soy sauce.

I originally ordered online and commented that I have an "allergy." After placing my order, Bibibowl called to tell me the Bogugi (steak) wasn't gluten free. I was very impressed that they called to provide a safe option. I ended up having the Spicy Pork, which was wonderful!

They said everything but the kimchi is gluten free. I had no problems after eating there. The food is all next to each other behind the counter, so I guess there is some cross-contamination risk. I spent $12 and had enough food for 2 meals! It’s nice to have a new gf option in ctown!
