What a positive experience! Going to a bar can be really nerve wracking for a person with celiac. However Melissa made this such a positive meal! Going in I knew I would be getting their gluten free crust pizza. After I explained to Melissa that I had celiacs, she double checked the ingredients in the Manhattan clam chowder and told me it had barley so I couldn’t have it. After a food runner brought out my pizza, she came to check on our table and realized the wrong crust had been prepared before I could say anything (it looked exactly like the gluten pizza my husband got) and whisked it away to be remade. She was a gem and I really felt she looked out for my best food interest!
