Review of Big Buns

Big buns is a small local burger chain in NoVA, with one oddball location in Ft Lauderdale. They have gluten free buns and nice burgers. The buns are a bit dry like most gluten free bread, but that's ok because you're not here for the bun but for the burgers. The burgers are nice. Lots of options.

The cashier told us the fries were gluten free as well, there is no cross over with their fried chicken fryers. She also asked what my gluten free situation was. Preference or need. I didn't have time to elaborate why she asked.

All in all a nice place if you're looking for a fancy burger with a gluten free bun. The fries are nice as well. Oh, and they have fancy sodas, not the standard Coke/Pepsi brands.

Good stuff. Don't get off route for it, but if you're in Ballston(or near any of their other locations) anyway, these folks are a good option.
