Big Jim's Seafood House

We called ahead and they assured us that they had plenty of gluten free items on their menu. However, when we arrived, the waiter was very unknowledgeable and seemed annoyed that I asked about gluten free. He didn’t write anything down and even though I specifically said not to put croutons on my salad, it still came out with croutons. He stated that the crab cakes were not gluten free so I ordered the crab stuffed shrimp which he assured was gluten free, but it ended up being shrimp stuffed with the crab cake filing. I could not eat my meal, which was very disappointing. Would not recommend this restaurant to celiacs. I had high hopes since it was my first time there, but will probably not go back.
