Wanted to eat here as we were visiting from out of state and it seemed to have decent reviews on this app. So I called them ahead of time and they seemed to answer and say all the right things. They even have a dedicated fryer for GF fries. When we ordered, the waitress wasn’t aware off hand of what was gluten free and what wasn’t but was more than happy to go check with the kitchen and do not make it feel like a chore. My daughter ordered a gluten free burger. The server (not our waitress) brought it out on a regular bun. I asked if it was gluten free (full well knowing it was not on Dempsey’s GF bun just from the looks of it) and he said no it wasn’t. They had to go and remake it. If I didn’t ask, we probably would’ve assumed it was GF as that’s what we ordered! The waitress apologized and said she forgot to say it had to be on a GF bun. None of the shakes are GF either the waitress told me. Everyone here was very nice but that doesn’t help my daughter when it comes to being celiac. Personally I wouldn’t feel comfortable eating there again and wouldn’t take my daughter there either.
