Went here because it was one of my favorite spots pre-celiac’s. They really came through for me. We sat at the bar - this is a trick I like to use since bartenders are usually more experienced - and got a lady who was fairly knowledgeable about gluten allergies, but not celiacs.
They confirmed that the meats, sauces and most sides are gluten free, but they did not say anything about the fryers. Knowing better, I avoided fried foods.
I got a beef dinner, baked potato, and Cole slaw. All delicious. No reaction. (*I had the gold mustard based sauce). They even had gluten free caramel cheesecake!
As we sat there enjoying our beverages, the bartender came over and asked about celiacs and what happens if I get sick, showing genuine interest. I explained a bit to her. The wait staff here is always excellent.
