The Creamery (both locations we tried, by the house and in the village) was knowledgeable and helpful. Only some of the items that were GF were actually marked, but we were told that anything without obvious addins (like banana pudding’s nilla wafers) was gluten free. They also, upon hearing it was for an allergy/Celiac, went to the freezer and got a fresh tub plus a clean scoop.

NO NO NO! They are completely uneducated at The Coffee Bar and the candy shop. The employees at The Coffee Bar had absolutely no idea what gluten is and what products it is in that they sell. The cashier acted so stupid and recommended bottle water. Really unfortunate. Hoping The Bistro is better, Annual Passholder.
No
There are no GF options at the Courtyard Marketplace and the only GF option at the sandwich shop is GF bread. I guess GF people are supposed to live on bread. Since I had no choice but to take a risk, I ordered a turkey sandwich on GF bread and they brought me the wrong thing. When I told the woman who brought out our food she made it clear she doesn’t normally work at the sandwich shop and clearly had no desire to assist us.
If you go on the Biltmore webpage under dining, you can apply a gluten free filter and it will show numerous options. Usually when you go to a tourist type place, the food is sub par, but we ate at Cedric's Tavern for dinner and the Stable Cafe for lunch and both places had good GF options, the staff was knowledgeable and the GF food was wonderful
We ate at the French Bistro at the Winery. The Sandwiches we ordered we wonderful. They even brought us GF bread while waiting with an olive oil dip. Definitely would go back!

The waiter was very knowledgeable informing us immediately there was no dedicated fryer. He brought us fresh pickles to munch while waiting for our order. I had the best grilled cheese sandwich I've ever had!
